Is the forum sleeping? ⇐ General

I'm the only one who has the impression that the forum is asleep, and to put it mildly. Where is everyone? It seems that there are no fewer people, but they are all “passengers”. It feels like you are sitting at a station, waiting for your train and watching around to quickly pass the time. You can’t start a conversation with anyone, or make acquaintances. Why? Yes, because everyone is exactly the same, waiting for their train.
And it seems like there are worthwhile topics, but it’s impossible to get hooked on them. There is no communication. There is simply a “bulletin board” where everyone throws in their remarks, without responding and without being interested in what others leave on the “board”.
Where have all the iconic people gone who could support the conversation, connect users with a common idea, etc. Where are those whom I wanted to hear, read, find out what they think on this or that issue: Sky on the Palm, Moray, Dragonfly, Natalie_Natalie, Fargal - and this is just the beginning of the list

Where did they go? Why is it happening? ?
