The Izmailovsky District Court of Moscow announced a verdict against Alexander Murashkin. In July last year, he tracked down his ex-wife Anastasia, who was leaving work in the evening, ran up to her and, in front of passers-by, stabbed her in the chest with a kitchen knife. The court found him guilty under Part 1 of Art. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (murder)
The prosecutor's office established that Murashkin, feeling jealous of his ex-wife, whose divorce took place about five years ago, repeatedly spoke about his intention to commit physical violence. He spoke about this to relatives and a mutual acquaintance with the deceased in correspondence.
On July 28, 2023, Murashkin was not far from the place of work of his ex-wife. When the woman came out at the end of the working day, Murashkin ran up to her and stabbed her in the chest area. It was later determined that the inserted knife had damaged the heart. After being stabbed with a knife, Murashkin hit the woman in the neck area. As she fell, her ex-husband kicked her twice in the head. Further actions were stopped by eyewitnesses, but this did not save the woman - she died on the spot from her injuries.
Murashkin was sentenced to imprisonment for a term of 7 years and 8 months, and he will serve the term in a maximum security colony. For premeditated brutal murder they gave only 7 years. It turns out that human life is worth nothing. The person was killed, and the animal will live for seven years at the expense of the state, and then just live until old age.
Why not euthanize a rabid animal? It would be a fair punishment.
